Hey Jack! The xml feed didn’t update. :( I needed to grab the show manuel-e.
Just to let you know.
April 20th, 2006 at 5:49 am
Oh no! Dead Feed means no Dead Pan.
well I guess I can go manual.
April 20th, 2006 at 7:55 am
WTF????
April 20th, 2006 at 8:02 am
Good thing I live in the dark ages of manual downloading. XML be wicked voodoo.
Thanks for the one minute break in there. I needed to pee.
April 20th, 2006 at 8:05 am
WTF is right.
April 20th, 2006 at 10:01 am
Needed to pee? I’ve got my own persoanlzed Dead Pan Bed Pan. I need never get up to pee again. WOO! You rock Jack!
Awesome interview. Great to hear two authors talking about their own work and digressing to Mike and Evo and having to get back on track. :) You did a great job steering things back to Tee.
Oh, personally, with interviews such as this, it doesn’t bother me if you go long. I’m a glutton for interviews. Hell, I’m a glutton for podcasts. Call me a podaholic. Call me an addict. Call me whatever you like, just don’t call me late for dinner.
April 20th, 2006 at 10:41 am
Podaholic! Addict! Whatever you like! Late for…o sorry.
Problem is work frowns upon bedpans. Dunno why. Seems like it would only add to production and efficiency. Morons!
I agree about the long interviews. As long as its informative and entro – taining its all good.
April 20th, 2006 at 11:03 am
Thanks for the feedback, guys. I think Tee was a great interview subject, and I’m really thrilled to have him as my second guest.
I do like the idea of a brief break in the middle of long interviews though, so you may hear that again.
And apologies for the feed troubles. I’m puzzled.
April 20th, 2006 at 1:14 pm
Deliverance meets Howard’s End-is that what Evo’s refering to when he mentions just having had “Butt sex?” On second thought, I so do not want to go there. If you really can’t get enough of interviews or Tee Morris please pont browser to: http://bbluesman.com/2006/04/19/freeculture-news-podiobookscom/
April 20th, 2006 at 1:51 pm
Hey Jack have you tried hitting the feed with a wrench? it worked for that Russian in Armegeddon.
April 20th, 2006 at 5:57 pm
Feed issue fixed. No good reason for it, as Jack did everything right. I’m chalking it up to gnomes.
April 20th, 2006 at 6:01 pm
Evo Terra: Gnomeslayer.
Thanks much, E!
April 20th, 2006 at 6:28 pm
Well than the wrench would have been even more helpful. the best way to knock off gnomes is with a wrench.
In fact I recomend the Gnome-wacker 3002. It’s rust proof.*
*this has been a paid endorsment.
April 20th, 2006 at 7:30 pm
I hope theres gnome more problems from now on.
April 20th, 2006 at 7:58 pm
………………………………
Im glad that the Gnome-wacker 3002 also works on killing bad puns.
*shakes the Gnome-wacker 3002 in a threatening manner*
April 21st, 2006 at 5:38 am
Ok ok put it down! I got the hint. That thing really dwarfs the competition doesnt it?
April 21st, 2006 at 5:48 am
*throws Gnome-wacker 3002*

Good point….
That was a great interview Jack! More, more more!
April 21st, 2006 at 7:28 am
Oh right I should finish listening to the podcast….cause I havent.
April 21st, 2006 at 9:32 am
You guys are doing your own show, right here in the message boards. . .
Loved the D&D channeling. Now if only my 2-nd level half-orc cleric was allowed to use an edged weapon. . . . Hey, hands off my lucky d20!!
April 21st, 2006 at 9:44 am
Jack. Its your show. If yo’ half-orc wants to use an edged weapon, then by God make it so.
Oh, that was YOUR d20. Sorry.
Now whered I put my Tab?
April 21st, 2006 at 9:46 am
oh…and guess whats funny? Ive never played D&D before. ever.
April 21st, 2006 at 10:02 am
Actually I didnt play it strait much either. Our forte as kids was mixing D&D, TMNT, the Star Wars RPG, and Robotech together to form one unholy addiction. Sweet God I miss the simplicity of those days.
I really dont miss the Tab tho.
April 21st, 2006 at 10:06 am
Jack- Im finishing up this episode…I hope I havent crossed that line of being an asshole. I love your work (alrthough I should finish Spherical Tomi ;-) )
I would never want to cross that line.
April 21st, 2006 at 11:27 am
Leave it to Jack to be the only one to out-Tee Tee Morris. Great interview, great questions, and I thought the sound scene in the background actually added to the ambience of the interview.
How you ever kept him on track during the interview is just short of genius.
The musical ending was frickin’ awesome, too! (I’ve turned it into a loop already) I can’t decide if you are a musician who writes, or a writer who plays music, ’cause you do both so well.
April 21st, 2006 at 11:37 am
back to the virtual virtual game:
*drops everything he was doing and stares, mouth opened at the fact that a girl walked in*
*drool puddle starts to form*
This is a fun game. ;-)
April 25th, 2006 at 7:00 pm
Jack – not to pee on the parade, but I loved highbrow/lowbrow EXCEPT that you explained the whole concept! Nothing kills a joke like explaining the joke. I was the only kid in my high school class who actually enjoyed Shakespeare, so I got the concept.
Do more H/L, but just give us the content! :)
*Notices girl too. Decides on a course of action that will impress her. Guzzles Dr Pepper, and-*
“Well, after the rest of the party ran away in fear, I unleashed my Vorpal Blade, which was forged in the heart of the Demon King’s lair. It’s got a plus 5 against the undead. So I pretty quickly dispatched that group of zombies and earned forty-two experience points!”
*belches loudly*
April 26th, 2006 at 10:21 am
Damn. That tuff.
April 27th, 2006 at 10:58 am
Thanks for your comments, Tim! I just barely made my saving throw there.
Everyone, wait until I unleash the Deadpan image that Tim made. It’s phat.
