I remember, during my young childhood, traveling from my small town to Colorado Springs between GIANT piles of snow on either side of the highway. It felt like driving through a tunnel. I also remember having snow drifts in the front yard that we could climb right up onto the roof of the house. There are photos of us next to a completely buried ’68 mustang that belonged to my dad also when I was about 3 years old. Those were the days of snow that may be coming back.

Investigators have released their findings on “The Videos”

and determined that the videos that had been released had been edited, in some cases substantially, “including the insertion of a substitute voiceover for significant portions of Mr. O’Keefe’s and Ms. Giles’s comments, which makes it difficult to determine the questions to which ACORN employees are responding. A comparison of the publicly available transcripts to the released videos confirms that large portions of the original video have been omitted from the released versions.”
The producers of the video refused to be interviewed for the investigation. The claim is that the “manipulation” was merely done to “shape” the conversation.

EssBee, If he uses a pc I recommend the Logitech Harmony line. The original setup was easy but tweaking it took a little time. done’t get me wrong it wan’t hard just took some time. My wife wont be without one now.

I just spoke to my mom, who sounds lucid today, but is pretty banged up from her fall. Looks like she’ll be in the hospital longer, and they are watching her now so she doesn’t take off to hurdle wheelchairs or something. Her fever is down, and they are still investigating the source of it. If it is an infection as a result of her surgery, I’m going to be insane with that hospital. The good news is that she sounds better. Whew.

Lo Pan – I’ve been talking a good bit of nonsense about getting a bike and riding to work, but even beyond my innate laziness preventing that from happening, the wifeling has told me repeatedly that I am not allowed to ride a bicycle in the road in the middle of the night. She also says I am not allowed to ride in the road in the middle of morning commute. She is silly and has not yet realized that I am invincible when I am being stubborn.
I need to be more stubborn.
Also, she would probably have my head if she found out that I was calling her the wifeling.
Without a head, the bicycle issue would be pretty inconsequential.
