Thanks to Amy Bowen for some Deadpan mmmmeetup files. Will edit and, hopefully, will be able to post soon.

Is it wrong that I want to take my coffee into the shower with me? I really don’t like having to leave it while I shower. I miss it so much for those 15 minutes.
Yes.
I take my coffee into the shower. DO IT.

boob
“boob” is truly the greatest palindrome.
Just as “SHPLAPOW!” is the greatest onimonipea.

“tit” is also a fine palindrome. I see a theme here….

Ok Im stretching here. As she said.
Lo Pan: I was unaware you were a Ministry fan. Very nice.
Cj: Thanks, I’m a big fan!
Van – Have you seen/heard this one? I’m probably just being ignorant, but it seemed like something you might be interested in.
http://whatever.scalzi.com/2010/03/31/todays-strangely-compelling-silliness/
Lo Pan: Looks as though it’s from Alice in Wonderland.
The new Tardis looks to have taken a bit of inspiration from Torchwood.
I think I’m getting old. The companion doesn’t look old enough to buy smokes yet.
The 11th Doctor looks 11 years old!
Am I supposed to be able to make out a single word of Stigmata? Bah.
Nomad Scry: A friend of mine gave me his copies of Details magazine. In general, it’s just a pretty bad rag. But of particular note are the models in many of the ads and shots used in said rag. It’s as though middle-school-age children suddenly are wearing multi-thousand-dollar outfits and drinking booze. I must be approaching the same age as the sphinx.
Nomad Scry: I understand most of them in that song.
There is something about 11th’s forehead that makes me think he is quite a bit older.
Oh! I can understand him shouting “lies” now!
Oh. Song is over. Figures.
Nomad Scry: Lower serial number?
JN – What?
Nomad Scry: Hahaha. Yes, Ministry doesn’t shoot for melody or clarity.

And in regards to stucco:
You can even get stucco. Oh, can you get stuck-o. These plots of land come with my personal guarantee. Why, if this land doesn’t double in value within the next year, I don’t know what you can do about it.

Well, I liked the lyric that Lo quoted. It was evocative. But I can’t say I like their music. I mistakenly thought I did and picked up one of their albums at a yard sale and was disappointed to find it was noise. I’m even more disappointed if the lyrics are usually good.
…
I wish the neighbor would cease vacuuming.
I can readily agree that Ministry is not for everyone. Lady J loaned a coworker their Filthpig album. She said she made it about halfway through the first song.
I think Psalm 69 is solid, as is The Land of Rape and Honey. Filthpig is good, but probably only for people who are already fans. However I bought another album years ago, it had the song “Over Your Shoulder” or something like that on it. I thought is was a big pile of steaming bird poop.
CP: Trance Lab Radio – 29 March 2010
Ed, you’re kidding. Today my oldest turns 12.
Filthpig. Yeah, that’s the one.
Congratulations Old Man Rhettro.
One more year to get your wooden bat and gun license.
On a similar subject, we often talk about the high quality of some lyrics in Pearl Jam’s songs, which you can rarely make out. It’s disappointing.
Still can’t figure out why my home computer hates iTunes. When I play a video in iTunes (just like when I play a flash-based game) my processor goes up to 100% usage and I get LAG! Sound is always good, but the video doth sucketh. I think I”ll blame my video card (or lack of as it’s an on-board chip set)
NS: go cut her power :)
JN: Ministry RAWKS! WOO WOO!
TEB: Did we ever hit your goal? We all don’t seem to have enough to say. :)
Yes, I’m old, how old? I remember seeing Star Wars – A New Hope in the theater, before it was “A New Hope.”
Happy Birthday to mini-Rhettro!
Nomad Scry: I can surely understand, then.
JRMurdock: We HAVE been tight-keyboarded, haven’t we?
Rhettro: Well done. I already am yelling for kids to get off of my lawn.
JRMurdock: I wonder if it’s a codec issue combined with DRM?
Holy crap – my oldest is 21
my youngest – 12
then my middle is 15…
my oldest is no longer in the house… so does that count?
I am old – I remember seeing Jaws in the theater (drive in).
JRMurdock – That’s a swell idea, but… then her husband might not offer to take me comic booking.
I remember seeing Saturday Night Fever in theaters. God I feel old now. But I don’t feel as old as WNDR as my oldest is 12 and my youngest is 12. :) There can be only 1!!!
I remember reading Jaws, but wasn’t allowed to see it.
I’m the oldest in my house! RAWR! I conquer all! BWAAAA!
Matt Damon.
Bloody hell, Wolf! I had no idea.
My eldest is 14. And I was a baby when Star Wars came out.
I remember walking through a mall with my folks. I saw a sign offering the movie “Staying Alive” in a cinema. I said I wanted to watch it, clearly just getting into violence. I was told it wasn’t the genre of movie I thought it was. I assumed they were lying.
She’s [bleeping] Matt Damon.
Wolfie, that means you became a father at 15? You are a wolf . . .
I think I’d rather be engulfed in flames than take an ice bath.
As someone that has been burned, I’d rather take an ice bath.
ditto: Shit, really?
Yep. I have a couple interesting scars from a house iron. Probably should be a dumb-ass memory, but I was 3 or 4. I had some other, less severe, burns. I’m not afraid of fire, but I do respect how much that shit hurts.
ditto: Wow. I had a scar from a hot cookie sheet (natch). I must’ve been around two or three.
EssBee you are to kind. I was a bit older when the oldest was born…
FYI – It took almost four years for the number of episodes of Wander Radio to be larger than my age. (Although that happened recently…)
Contrary to popular opinion, my father is still older than I am.
CP: Shame — Inward Eye
CD: Conf Call Hell (still)
Oh, and every time I refresh, the Pixie part at the top of the page reminds me of the pixie bits in this episode. I thought they were really comical.
I have interesting scars on my arms from when I took a lighter and started to burn a plastic rope (broken) that was used for our swings and it melted quickly and dripped on my hands and arms. I remember looking at it burning on my hand and freaking out and WIPING it off and watching it spread. Being 8 I didn’t think to rub it in the dirt or anything. NOOOO I rubbed it on my pants :))
JRMurdock: Wow. That’s impressive.
Note to self: Hide combustibles if ever I attend a Mmmmeetup.
Work is kicking my butt this morning. Who knew month end increased people’s stupidity.
Wolf, we have well surpassed the triple goal. We can stop talking now if you want.
My butt? Also kicked by work today.
TEB – Is that a subtle way of saying Too Much Information?
I guess I’ll mute my keyboard.
Keyboard on mute now

Good Morning,
!
The 11th Doctor (matt smith) is 26 years old… the forehead thing, does make me wonder though…
My wife actually used to listen to Ministry… and Sisters of Mercy… I wonder if we have any CDs…
I received a couple small burns when cooking Caramel Corn…So basically I haven’t had any real experience in this area… but Hot Caramel…OUCH…
Okay, TMI? How’s this? If you hurt your back enough, it’s very hard to fart.

CP: Mar. 27, 2010: The News from Lake Wobegon
EssBee: I saw a sign once saying that no outfit is complete without dog hair. We, by necessity, agree. Of course, we have a cat and a dog, so we’ve got both corners covered.
RT @Johnny Null: Okay, TMI? How’s this? If you hurt your back enough, it’s very hard to fart.
Wait… we can now RT in the deadpan? Wow! This place has evolved! WOO WOO!
I need to fart, but my back hurts. GAR!

A partial solution is use another PDF reader, like SumatraPDF.
Resonator Terminator
Foxitreader is another good one:
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/
But apparently it’s vunerable as well..bugger.
JN: As far as I know, this is brand new. It isn’t a vulnerability, this is a “flaw” in PDF itself.
All PDF applications are vulnerable to this “flaw” since it is part of the language itself.
ditto: Oooooooooooh. Crap, ANOTHER one? It’s already allowed to run JS code, amongst other things. Damn!
