The humorous moniker came about in the early days of the show, when Jack would randomly choose comments from the most recent episode and read them onpod. If I had three wishes, one would be for House to get cancelled and Hugh Laurie sent packing back to the UK to do a new comedy series with Stephen Fry.
This weeks lovey dovey episode made me want to puke.
I love Nurse Jackie, Van. She’s such a trainwreck. I have a soft spot for those.
Hugh Laurie’s american accent is better than mine. I don’t think he’ll be going across the pond soon. As an aside, I don’t find leg amputations with a power saw that lovey dovie. ;)
I never really got into House. Yes, it was entertaining enough, mainly because House is an interesting character. But I could never get past the realization that House was just like Star Trek in a hospital with Geordie being a cantankerous, narcissistic bastard.

OK, I’m back from the temporary grave… temporarily. I went in to hiding for a while to get on track with writing my PhD. I’m not done, but things are progressing the way they should so I can allow myself a few treats (like the

At the time (hey I was like 10 years old, back off) I had no idea that there was an NHL team that corresponded to the Binghamton Whalers. I think the coolest part of finding out about Hartford is discovering that the logo for the Binghamton team was created by turning the “W” on it’s side to make a ‘”B”

Actualy Van, I am reading my current book through the touch and really like it, that’s what got me wanting an e-reader.
The thing is, I would like a slightly larger screen, but not I-Pad large. My hubby’s reader is really nice, thin and light weight, but does not have touch screen capability and is about as basic as you can get.
I told hubby I needed something about the size of his (I think it’s 6″) but with a touch screen. Back lit would be nice too but I know I’m not going to get that unless I go I-Pad
I’m learning a lot about e-book prices. For the book The Desert Spear which I finished reading last week (prices in CDN).
Kobo – $10
Amazon – $12.60 (actually 11.99 US converted at today’s rate)
Sony – $15
E-Reader $20
The book I’m currently reading was a free one from Baen so I couldn’t price that.
It’s quite interesting researching different e-readers and what they can and can’t do… in Canada

Van, yes I put a bajillion hours into Dragon Age, but not in one sitting. I think the most I ever put in (on a week day) was a couple of hours.
As a side note, I see there’s more DLC for DA, guess I’ll be going back soon. Must see what it looks like in 3D.
Currently playing Assassin’s Creed 2 and it’s beautiful in 3D. Won’t play any other way.
Off to the mall soon. Must check out the Sony Store and may make a decision that will cost me money.
