Just FYI – I think it would be fair to say such a thing is actually the antithesis of her beliefs. Any notion of collectivism or an appeal to duty for “the common good” would have set her off, as I understand.

D'oh! How'd I forget Top Gun and Crow soundtracks. Both excellent in their own way.
Can’t say I was ever a big fan of the Top Gun soundtrack. I like the theme song, and the movie is great aircraft porn, but most of the songs were never favorites of mine.
The Crow soundtracks, on the other hand, I love. “Burn” is an excellent Cure song.
Yeah, my tastes in the ’80s were much more “pop” than they are today. Thankfully.

I loved the heat of AZ. A few years a go I was at a conference in Scottsdale and it was 110 and I loved it. When I got home it was 85 and humid and sticky, no fun at all.
It is 86 here and some what humid so it’s not so bad now.
